Hello music lovers!

I’m writing the first post in a long time. I think the last time was early 2022 prior to my last trip back to Australia and what turned out to be my last solo performance at the Merri Creek Tavern in Westgarth. 

The night went very well and I was feeling inspired by the encouragement and love from everyone who made it out. The next day we packed up and left for Canada and when we got home, I lost my voice. For a long time! To make a long story short, after months and months of different specialists and one surgical procedure, it slowly started to come back. It’s been a long slow road filled with many vocal exercises and croaky conversations, but I’m happy to say that I’m back, baby!

Now cut to September 2024 and I’m finally ready to get back to the Merri Creek Tavern, have a nice pint of Coopers, and close the gate on this chapter of my life. I want to sing, damn it, and I hope you can be there to help celebrate!

I’ll also be joining Van Walker and his band to help launch his latest album, Healing Descent, on the same weekend. Van and I recorded this fine collection of songs last year in Canada and I was fortunate to be in Melbourne in time for the release.
